ABOUT
Samuelle Parent is a young artist from La Conception located in the Laurentides region. Having completed college studies in Visual Arts, she then specialized in Jewelry. Now a graduate of the Montreal jewelry school, she is diving head first into the world of jewelry. With her unique creations, she gives a second life to often neglected everyday objects. A fan of fairy tales and fantasy literature, these latter themes are often brought into his magical creations.
Creative process and artistic approach
The fantasy world has always attracted me. Since I was as tall as three apples, I tend to act like a crow and collect different trinkets and give them a second life. I like to transform them into works of art whether they are portable or not. The concept of the infinite imagination of childhood is my main source of inspiration. My goal is to push the limits between reality and imagination. I want when we look at my works, to be able to feel this magical thought that almost everyone loses once they become adults; " Everything is possible. »
